FOREST-FOOD-FIRE

SUSTAINABLE DINING EXPERIENCES in Nature
The forest is our restaurant, and around the fire we have our dining room. For shared dining experiences, we gather in what we call Gläntan—a forest clearing. Here you’ll find a campfire, sheltered seating, and our Forest Lounge, featuring a glass wall to shield from the elements and a crackling stove as a source of warmth. Guests staying in the forest rooms usually prepare their meals by their rooms, but you’re always welcome to join us for dinner when it’s offered in Gläntan.
We offer both traditional dinners where you are served an interactive dining experience where you cook your own meal over an open fire. Ingredients are locally sourced and seasonal, inspired by the farm and the forest.
A dinner in Gläntan is not like a regular restaurant visit—it’s something truly special.

TASTING MENU – ÅRSTIDEN (the Season)
This year, we continue with our wonderful fine dining experience Årstiden (the Season)!
This is a tasting menu where local ingredients truly shine and are allowed to take center stage—but these dinners are about more than just food. Fire and nature also play a starring role, as we move between a shared outdoor table, the logs around the fire, and indoors in the Forest Lounge.
The menu is shaped by the season and by what the forest, nearby farms, and local producers have to offer at the time. The food is cooked over an open fire—with smoke, embers, and a deep love for the local, even if we occasionally venture to other parts of the country for flavor inspiration. Like vendace roe from Lake Vänern or truffle from Gotland.
We might start with local charcuterie and cheeses around the fire, then gather at the table for an Egg Royal with eggs from Eksjöhult. The beef for the next course, a tartare, has grazed on Östergötland’s natural pastures, and the spruce bark cheese from Jurss is served melted, directly from the fire, with freshly baked sourdough bread. Between courses, you might discover a lingonberry praline nestled in moss.
To drink, we offer a carefully selected beverage package with wines and drinks from our range. Just like the food, our beverage philosophy is rooted in local and small-scale producers. The package includes several Swedish drinks, along with some from European producers practicing sustainable farming with minimal climate impact.
You can also choose a non-alcoholic package, which includes local light beer from our neighbor Ölsbo and beverages from Rudenstams in Jönköping.
PRICE: SEK 950 per person, excl. beverage package
DRINKS: Beverage package SEK 650 / Non-alcoholic beverage package SEK 250
Drinks are ordered and paid for on site.
Dress for the weather! We’re generally outdoors from April to September, but variations may occur.
If your group has 8 people or more, we’re happy to open up for you on other dates as well.
Book by selecting a date below (these dates are 18+ only):
If you also wish to book accommodation, you’ll need to make two separate bookings. Check availability and book your stay via BOOK, then return here to reserve your spot for the fine dining experience.

Dining Experiences to Book as a Group
Bring your group of friends, colleagues, or family for a special time in Gläntan—cook your own meal over the fire or enjoy a meal served to you. In winter, we gather indoors, and in summer we set the table in the pergola. Available to book year-round for groups of 8 or more. You can also book a fine dining experience (see above).
We’re happy to help arrange taxi transport from Linköping, Mjölby, or Motala. We also collaborate with HaMa Adventures to offer corporate dining experiences on-site in Vidingsjö.
If you’re a smaller group, check out our EVENT CALENDAR to see what’s coming up.

KOLBULLAR OVER THE FIRE
Cook a meal together over the open flames
Bring your friends, family, or colleagues out to the forest with us and experience something new together. Here, you’ll cook your own kolbullar over an open fire, with our guidance to help you manage the fires and kolbulle pans.
Kolbulle is a kind of pancake filled with crispy fried pork (or fried cheese for those who prefer it), absolutely delicious served with lingonberry jam and cucumber from Kinda Gurka. The pork comes from Glada Grisar in Vimmerby and the fried cheese from Naja’s Dairy.
Kolbulle is a classic at Naturlogi and our absolute favorite group meal to prepare. It can be made vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free. For dessert, you’ll have oat crumble with seasonal berries or fruit (usually rhubarb, apple, or blueberries). Drinks include a variety of options, including beer from our neighbor Ölsbo.
What’s included:
– Everything prepared and set out for cooking.
– We give instructions and help you get started, sharing stories about us, the food, and the ingredients.
– You eat the kolbullar as they’re ready.
– We provide coffee and dessert.
– We take care of all the cleaning and clearing of the tables.
Available year-round; if it’s rainy, we can cook and eat under shelter.
PRICE: SEK 425 per person
Lingon drink included; other drinks extra.

Our drink menu features several Swedish wines as well as some European producers who practice sustainable farming and strive for minimal climate impact. Of course, you’ll also find local beer and soft drinks.

For guests staying in the forest rooms
Those of you staying in our forest rooms cook your meals yourselves over the fire by your room*. Everything is prepared—your only task is the actual cooking. Instructions and all necessary equipment are provided, and we take care of the cleaning. You don’t need to be experienced with cooking over an open fire; we’re here to help if you have questions. Cooking usually becomes a pleasant and enjoyable activity during the evening.
If you arrive during one of our other dinners or events, you’re of course welcome to book those as well—just be sure to book early. These events often sell out, and there are no reserved spots specifically for room guests.
*This generally applies unless otherwise specified in your booking or package.
